I just got back from a full month in Mexico and I feel like I'm wearing a a tan suit. When I look at my own hands and then look out the window at the clouds and drizzle it seems like something is wrong. There is no way I should be this dark at this time of year in Vancouver. Back in Kate's living room it is hard to believe that just two days ago I was in a bikini on a beach. It feels like I never left here. I wonder if that means that this feels like home?

Today I found a site that has many of the fantastic photos by Peter Lindbergh from 1980 onward. It was a total treat flipping through his photos for the past hour or so and looking at the models and fashion over the past few decades. Here is an editorial from French Vogue in 1990 featuring Helena Christensen.

I just love this model she uses. It might be entirely the haircut and styling, but whatever it is I like it. Plus that picture that has been painted is fabulous! I feel a project coming on... a potentially messy one.
