stranded.
I just got back from my vacation. The weather wasn't ideal, but I did get one day to lay in the sun on the beach and get a few rays.
Here is one of my fave models looking a little bit scorched in the mid-day sun.

rainy day romance.
A typhoon has hit Korea. It is mild here compared to other parts of the country, but the rain is still amazing. There are rivers flowing down the streets and I was sprayed by a passing bus, but the bus was two lanes away! Today we had a day off from the rain and it was nice to sit outside in the shade at lunch time. Tonight it is supposed to start again. I like rainy days and rainy day activities. I'm hoping to have a Harry Potter marathon this weekend if it keeps up (shhh though, I haven't told Jeremy yet!).

messy hair and flowing fabric.
I like the little things about these pictures. Like the orange birkenstocks, the feather in a knotted ponytail and the fringed necklaces. I also love the fabric on the blue dress and that apricot onesie. When Jeremy saw these he said "Sweet pictures!". That doesn't happen everyday.

overcast.
Both of these outfits would be totally suitable for teaching in Korea and both of them are rad. I get paid for the first time today and I think I want to go shopping this weekend. I am desperate for a plain skirt that goes at least half way down my thighs, maybe in a neutral colour so it will go with all my button-ups. Today in one of the kids journals that I marked one of them said "Marie Teacher is so pretty and well dressed." Talk about ego boosting!!!

just in from the rain.

It has been just pissing rain here for the past few days I put on my sweater this morning and it was still wet. Gross! There are just way more wet clothes than places to hang it. . Lucky I have a new teeny tiny umbrella! It is definitely not up to code when it comes to real Victoria rain, but it looks cute and that's really all that matters.
